The short version
- Your campaign contacts live on your own server, not in a shared database we run.
- We never sell, rent or share your data, and we do not use it to train anything.
- Three outside services are involved: Stripe takes payment, our form provider delivers website enquiries, and a hosting company runs the server.
- This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies today.
- Ask us to show, correct or delete your data and we will do it within 30 days. Email mail@automatemessage.com.
This policy explains how Jeedesigns LLC, the company behind Automate, handles personal data. We are a small team, so the person answering a privacy request is the person who runs the service.
1. Two different kinds of data
This is the most important distinction in the whole policy, so it comes first.
Data about you, our customer. Your name, email, and payment record. We decide how this is used, so we are responsible for it.
Data you upload to run campaigns. Your contact list, your message templates, your delivery logs. You decide how this is used. It sits on your own instance, and we handle it only on your instructions.
In data-protection language, we are the controller for the first kind and a processor for the second.
2. What we collect about you
- Order and contact details - name, email address, phone number, and business name if you give one. These come from the order form or the contact form.
- Payment records - what you bought, when, and for how much. Card numbers never reach us; Stripe handles the card itself.
- Support messages - what you write to us and what we write back.
- Server logs from your instance - IP addresses and timestamps, generated automatically, used to keep the server running and secure.
We do not collect anything beyond this. There is no tracking pixel, no behavioural profile, and no data bought from anyone else.
3. Why we are allowed to use it
| What | Why we use it | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Order and contact details | To set up your instance and reply to you | Performing our contract with you |
| Payment records | To take payment and keep accounts | Contract, and a legal duty to keep records |
| Support messages | To answer your question | Contract, or our legitimate interest in helping you |
| Server logs | To keep the service running and secure | Our legitimate interest in a working, secure service |
4. The data you upload
Your contacts, templates, media and delivery logs are stored on your own server. The setup is yours; we manage the server for you. Your data is not copied into a shared database, not pooled with other customers' lists, and not used for any purpose of our own.
We access your instance in three situations only: to set it up, to fix something you have asked us to fix, or where the law requires it. There is no routine access and no browsing of customer lists.
You are responsible for the people on your list. You need a lawful reason to hold their numbers and to message them, and you must honour opt-outs. Automate gives you the tools - consent import, dedupe, opt-out handling - but the obligation is yours. Sending to purchased or scraped lists breaks our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Who else touches your data
Three outside services are involved in running Automate. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job.
| Service | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing | Name, email, billing details and payment records |
| splitforms | Website form delivery | Whatever you type into an order or contact form |
| Hosting provider | Servers that run your instance | Hosts the server; does not read the data on it |
Nobody else receives your personal data. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or pass it to advertisers or data brokers. If that ever changes, this table changes first.
6. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, and no third-party tracker running on these pages today. Nothing here follows you to another site.
If analytics is added later, this section will be rewritten to name the service and say what it collects, and visitors in regions that require consent will be asked before anything loads.
7. How long we keep things
- Order and contact details - for as long as you are a customer, then up to 12 months.
- Payment records - as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically several years.
- Support messages - up to 24 months, so we have the history of your account.
- Your instance data - until you cancel. After cancellation the server is decommissioned and its contents destroyed with it. Export anything you want to keep before you cancel.
- Server logs - a short rolling window, then overwritten.
8. Where your data is held
Automate sells worldwide, so your instance may be hosted outside the country you are in, and Stripe processes payments internationally. Where personal data moves between countries, it moves under the terms those providers publish for international transfers.
If you need your instance in a particular country or region for legal reasons, ask before you order and we will tell you whether we can do it.
9. Your rights
Whatever country you are in, you can ask us to do the following, and we will not charge you for it:
- See the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to a particular use, or withdraw consent you have given.
- Complain to your national data protection authority.
Email mail@automatemessage.com and say what you want. We will confirm receipt the same day and complete the request within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that somebody else cannot request your data by pretending to be you.
10. If something goes wrong
If a breach affects your personal data and could put you at risk, we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay, and within 72 hours of becoming aware where the law requires it.
We will tell you what happened, what data was involved, and what to do about it - in plain language, not a legal notice designed to be skimmed past.
11. Security
Each customer runs on a separate server with a separate IP address, which means a problem on one instance does not expose another. Access to provisioning is limited to Jeedesigns LLC staff.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can say is that the architecture removes the single largest risk in shared messaging platforms: one breach exposing every customer's contact list at once.
12. Children
Automate is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child's data has reached us, email us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects how your data is handled, we will email customers rather than quietly editing the page.
14. Contact
Privacy questions, data requests and complaints all go to the same place:
Jeedesigns LLC (Automate)
Jithu Jayaraj, privacy contact
mail@automatemessage.com
If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. We would rather you told us first, so we get the chance to fix it.
